Charter of New Union of Architects and Engineers

We, who are working in the field of architecture and community design aim to protect our country from devastation, prevent the destruction of the environment and create a comfortable living space and highly developed culture which people desire.

We recognize these principles and uphold our target, and we establish this Charter.

1. We shall grasp architecture and community design in connection with society at large.

2. We shall improve community-based architecture and community design in cooperation with residents and users.

3. We shall endeavor to inherit the excellent tradition of architecture and community design, and to contribute to the development and creation of the theories and techniques of architecture and community design.

4. We shall promote architecture and community design with the support of citizens, and shall establish a profession of specialists.

5. We shall associate with various field of people related to architecture and community design all over the world, and promote solidarity.

6. We shall promote peace to preserve architecture and community design, life and culture and freedom.
